For someone who's not a "pleaser," it sure seems like I spend a helluva lot of my time & energy in the endeavor. And to what end?

What the heck is freezing fog??
Just that. A fog that freezes onto everything it touches.

I've encountered it once. I went into a hotel early one evening to attend a union party. When I came out five hours later everything, and I mean everything had a quarter inch of ice on it.

You'll probably have to chip your car free of ice tomorrow.

Hubby has to drive home in that... on already icy roads... a trip that takes an hour on a good day. :(

Tell him t be very, very careful. *HUGS*

I did. It worries me because he slid off the road this morning on the way there (didn't hurt him or the vehicle thank goodness), and he didn't have to deal with freezing fog then. He just let me know he's leaving, so I have an idea of when to expect him home. I'm seriously considering telling him to keep his butt home tomorrow despite how badly we need the money. I'd rather know he's safe.

Motherfucker. Nothing like the husband calling with "I'm at the hospital" to get me into panic mode. Luckily he followed it by saying it wasn't him that was injured.

I'm getting worried about the job he's taken. It doesn't sound that dangerous except for having to climb up wind turbines, but since he's started he's already been in a car that rolled over several times, and now his colleague might be minus one toe from what I understand, and it's kinda freaking me out. There have been a lot more accidents there where luckily no one was hurt. On top of that we still don't have the health insurance we were promised. I'm really fucking pissed off about that.

I watched a truck fall apart tonight, right in front of me.

The wheel started wobbling and before I could do anything, it pulled out further and further, then the axle gave way and was making sparks on the road, literally gouging a lie in the pavement. It came loose, shaft and wheel and the truck pulled off the edge, but as I checked with the guy all I could think of "holy shit that truck is going to blow up right in front of me."

:rose::heart: That so sucks darlin. I hope it all gets better soon.

:rose::heart: Thanks, now we found out there's something broke in our furnace and it needs to be fixed before the pipe freezes again...*sighs*

On the good side I got me a 2001 Hyundai Sonata with only 95,000 miles on it for $2,950. :D

I think i was being a bit ambitious, when i figured i'd get up at 6am for a workout and a shower before having to get the baby ready for school...i need to work my way up to a 6am start that involves more than wandering around the house like a zombie getting ready to leave...

Speaking of which, my sister is bunking school and my mum is bunking work

I've received an invitation to the Inaugural Ball. :D

I'm not going, but it's cool to have been invited.
