#9 is iffy. Generally children do better with one parent who will be Mommy and one who will be Daddy. I don't see, though, that means they have to be different sexes. In any case, a child with two functional parents is 90% assured of an effective upbringing. With one, it's more difficult. It's those poor offspring of completely ineffectual people who are doomed. How about if we pass a law that requires them to be neutered. :D

The dean of my school is Gay...so is the admissions tutor for my future MSc/PhD- they are SO doing each other...oh and they are both australian :D

oh...and i'm gay too :D

~~

alone it wasnt happening...not getting any fun out of it at all...and then 3 one after the other just because i could hear her voice...*smug, still- satisfied- since- this- morning- grin*

:D

Yeah, Harris & Klebold really turned out well -- from their nuclear M/F homes.

Well put. Amy scared the FUCK out of most of the other "Dads" at the Dad / Daughter Dance! :D

There were only her, two TA's, and me in her office, so it should be safe enough.

 you right back, Icpta.

Gnight darlin...

and how am I to sleep with the image of your current av running through my head?;)

It will give you some idea of my state of exhaustion that none of the sexy lady's AVs does a thing for me. :(

Isolated artistic blurt: Risky Business. :)

Just watched that magical scene in which Joel and Lana make love on the train, with those haunting, evocative, lyrical instrumentals by - Tangerine Dream? Eurythmics? (It's rather mysterious, that one. Not the Phil Collins, but the instrumental that comes after.)

In any event, it's one of those scenes that never gets old, and always sends a chill.

I just watched Michael Clayton. The credits came up before the picture went away, and I had to keep watching until it went black as I was expecting an ending that wasn't going to happen. That's real tension. When the movie is over and you still can't relax

Yeah. Remember when Tom Cruise used to be cool?

yep that's the way it is... same here... i stub my toe in the bedroom and i winge and moan like a baby... yet during a hockey match i get a stick in the face or ball in the guts, kicked to shit, and i don't feel it, just makes me more aggressive... same at judo i get pummeled and pounded about the mat, i get nasty and very butch at times, not an ounce of fear or regret... later i sit and contemplate the bruises and scars and think... wow that was a good game... then i sit for an age trembling with anticipation of suffering as i contemplate the pain of pulling an eyebrow hair:rolleyes:

:D I know exactly what that's like.

I used to do Judo as well. :) Sorta miss it, too, though I prefer Rugby.

That's another one I think would be really fun to learn. :) Don't think I'll ever get around to it though. For how long have you been doing it?

Officially? 2 days.

But non-officially, ever since I was 4. That was from being the punch bag (not quite literally though) for my older cousins, playing around with my ex, who held a red belt in Taek-Won-Do at the time, and a short course in grade 9. Those were all too long ago, which is why I don't consider them formal training anymore. I still kick other beginners' asses in my class though. :D

I imagine you'd probably be able to get quite a bit out of those "unofficial" training sessions. I used to wrestle (seriously, not naughty) with my now-husband in our college wrestling room and got a few good workouts that way. Learned a few moves, too, even though it was basically just me trying not to let him pin me.

Glad to hear you're kicking ass. :) :rose:

Yep, that's definitely good informal training for Judo. But in Karate, you're not supposed to let the opponent breach your "comfort zone" at all, therefore, we use a lot of free-range kicks. And that is just killing my thighs.
