Hell yes, I will! :D

Dampy will probably go with me too. But she can sleep in the garage, no big deal.

She's welcome, of course. I'll even cook for you. :)

(Abs said she ate so much while she was here, the plane leaned sideways on the way home :D )

I'll be drunk on Southern food.

(I heard they had to fix one of the seats. Was that hers?)

I just got the sudden urge to stip down naked and hang out.

Earlier today at work I was viewing the forums when my boss (who is seldom anywhere near the office) walked through the door. He walked in the door at 11:30, and all I could think of was that he was going to make me late for lunch. And sure enough I got to lunch 30 minutes late.

Yesterday, I had been hoping that I wouldn't see the architect that I don't want to see anymore today. Sure enough, when I got back from lunch, there he was in a meeting with my seldom seen boss.

*goes back to read previous replies throughout the day*

There comes a time when you have to stop being what other people made you, and move on to something that's you.

I'm as ready for this day as can I. Bring it on.

Slowly . . . does it nicely.

Gently, would be even better.

In an attempt to make the morning run smoother, I say to the 7 year old kidlet, who is still in bed: "Sweetheart, you've got to get up and feed your fish. They're really hungry. Feed them so long while I get your breakfast. They know it's time for their breakfast, too."

Her:"How do they know? It's not like they can think or anything . . . "

Me:" Well, everytime I walk near the aquarium, they swim up to me all expectantly. They must think I'm you, or something . . .

Her:" *sympathetic look, tainted by skeptical* "Mommy, NO ONE looks like you in the mornings . . ."

:D:D:D

It could be a compliment! ;)

There are two emergency ambulances and one rapid response ambulance outside my house, attending to the same house. Ruth & Eric live there, Ruth has dementia i think, or possibly alzheimers, and Eric is just cantankerous, imobile, and stubborn- oh and i think he suffers from Emphysema...

Everytime i see an ambulance attending to them, i automatically think the worst.

It's not an uncommon sight on my road...that there is an ambulance here...it's just saddening that not much can be done for either of them.

:(

Just because you've always seen me nuke up food and never seen me *actually* cook doesn't mean I don't know how to make real food. Get over yourself already. You don't even have the vaguest idea who you're bragging to and what you consider to be charming people find incredibly annoying and rude, in fact.
*giggle*

Hmph. If I'm sleeping in the garage, you're sleeping in the garage too.

I don't think my mother has the capacity to treat anyone nicely, or say anything nice to anyone. She's angry at the world and it's mother for her own incompetencies, and feels she has the god-given right to take it out on everything and everyone without a care for the consequences.

I'm not her daughter, i'm her target.

Self-storage is a $22 billion/year industry. WTF does that say about us?

That we have a lot of stuff to store. Though, in the defense of some...self storage is rather popular here in the military [see tons of them around here], however ya gotta figure some live on ship [limited storage] or like me, rent out a room in a house with not enough storage area for all your stuff.
