So now the the kids won't get to go to the pool on the last day of their holidays and, for the first time ever, I won't be at their first day back to meet their new teachers and see which mates they're with in class.

I would prefer if K.I.T.T. was always a Trans Am. They are supposed to be coming out with new Trans Ams in the next year, and they look pretty spiffy too. But I guess that is just my personal preference.

There were some Knight Rider spin-offs, like Knight Rider 2000. There were six Kitts in that one. Vipers and things.

but in the original show, K.I.T.T. was always a 1981 or 1982 or so (I really can't tell the 80s models apart, they all looked the same to me from 81 to around 91) Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
