I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Why can't I get some sleep and get frickin better?

I didn't sleep much the last few weeks of pregnancy.

I took a bath every night - that seemed to help.

I hope you can find some rest.

A bath might help some with the congestion, probably a very good idea. I'll have to try that in a little bit, then hopefully I can find a position that doesn't make me sick to my stomach and can get some sleep so I can work tomorrow...

Any way you can raise the headboard of the bed?

Or at least with pillows beneath your head?

Last time I went for a nap, and the time before, I basically put a crapload of pillows under my head and laid on my back so I was half sitting up. Midwife suggested recliner and sleeping that way but I don't have a recliner so that's the closest I could come up with.

I remember reading something about putting some two by fours beneath the headboard. I did the pillow thing, too.

Ruffles potato chips helped my nausea. Wonder if it was the salt?

It's so damn hard to be pregnant.

It very well could be, didn't think of that. Will have to try it. Thanks for the tips babe, going upstairs so I can take a bath before I go to bed. Pregnancy has been good, the only issues I've had have been when I've been sick, so far in the past 6 months 4 sinus infections and a kidney stone...But at least now I'm on my normal allergy meds, that should be a big help. Again thanks. :rose:

*runs upstairs to take a bath before hubby pushes her to again*

Retail is hard enough without the pregnancy thrown in. You're a strong and admirable woman, Mrs. D. I wish you every happiness and all sorts of unimaginable love.

If I as much as acquire one scrape during this process, I shall hide your weed and use it for medicinal purposes only. Without sharing.
