Why is it that whenever an American news service posts a story about an Eastern European country they have to qualiy the statement with something like "Today in Belarus, a former Soviet Union Country, bla, bla bla..."

Is it that they think Americans are so ignorant of the geography and the rest of the world that they can't find... oh...

Nevermind.

You just realized that 95% of the politicians can't find their ass with both hands?
Much less another country?

I'm that ignorant of world geography. I seriously don't know where most countries are on a map (I'm not very good with state geography either ).

i know the feeling. I gotta go back on Friday, though that trip won't be anywhere near as painful, I know that from experience. I hope this achy mouth/jaw thing clears up long before then, though.

disappointed, the snow that was to greet the morning didn't start till 2PM and it was to warm for it to stick. Almost 3 hours later and we have a light dusting in the yard and a lot of water in the road for the under 20 degree temps tonight. Icy tomorrow
