Snow last night, freezing rain later today!

Less than 2 inches of snow overnight, freezing rain this morning, now rain, supposed to ice again later :(
I hate this kind of weather :(
I'll take a foot of snow anyday over this crap :)

A rough couple of months :(
Diva, Joesephus, friends and relatives, major losses to this old world :(

I just got a pm from a friend that his mother is at the end. He's hoping his relatives will make it to say good-bye. :(

murdock was one of the names on the people on the show I think. Course I'm insane today so i might have that wrong.

:) You are not wrong. Murdock was my favorite. My brother used to sneak me into his room to let me watch A-team after I was supposed to be in bed. Thanks for the memory. I needed a smile.

Chocolate-cherry Dr. Pepper! :D

What did you add to the Dr. Pepper. I must know. Please. (If you tell, I'll tell you how to make an awesome cake using a package of frozen cherries, a chocolate cake mix and 12 ounces of dr. pepper.)

 Must go to store NOW!

Oh, okay, the cake.

Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake

16 ounces frozen dark sweet cherries (such as Bing)
1 chocolate cake mix
12 ounces (1 1/2 cups) Diet Dr. Pepper

Preheat oven to 350. So, you spray a 9 by 13 cake pan with pam then dump about a 16 ounce bag of frozen dark cherries in the bottom (still frozen.) In a bowl, mix together a chocolate cake mix and 12 ounces (1 1/2 cups) of diet dr. pepper. (Never tried it with regular but it should be okay.) Pour the cake mix over the cherries and bake for an hour. The batter will spread and even out in the second half of baking. Cool and serve with a dollop of whipped cream or cool whip.

Yeah, I don't want to even think about it but the first of my father's siblings passed away last year. He is the youngest of six at 71. The oldest is 88.

Noted. :rose:

I hope she's wearing a red hat and giving all her kids hell. ;):rose:

Mom is in great health but Dad has had several very near misses in the past ten years. Every day we have him is a bit of a miracle.

Kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids, greatgrandkids, friends... :D
She is a fiesty old broad :D

Went through that with my Dad (congestive heart failure) for 10 years before it got him, enjoyed the time but not the worry :(
Even when you expect it, it is still Dad and nothing makes that easier

Fuck, I'm way too depressed and sluggish and my mind's just plain jumbled. I can't even think straight.

Again: Fuck.
