Isolated Blurt Thread

In another thread I wrote, "Have faith in your fellow Literoticans and your fellow man in general - people aren't stupid or blind, and they can tell who is good and who is not. Nothing the evil ones say or do can change that, so the correct response is to ignore them."

I just got a note from someone who described being attacked, and did just that - ignored it. I answered:

"Good for you! I don't want any details for the reasons I explained, but do like to know that you were subject to and refused an attempt to make you a victim, because now I can admire and celebrate your courage and good sense! Yay you!"

Note: This is not meant to disparage anyone who reacted differently to an attack. It's not only not easy, but it's also very confusing. You too have my admiration for your virtue and goodwill, however you responded. :heart:

Why is it ... ( a repeated question coming up )

That when you read your story and read it again and read it again... you still don't see the errors until after the stories are approved and posted on the site?

*plans tomorrow evening's activities of ... proofing again, editing again, and resubmitting the newest novel/novella this time hopefully without the errors that scream out at me today!*

It's the spelling sprites and grammar pixies that dwell in our computers and also the internet imps. They have a wicked alliance and have sworn to perpetrate mischief and chaos for writers everywhere.

And those damned squirrel monkeys WON'T STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND!!!!!

I'd laugh, except one of them just hit me in the head with a coconut. :( That really hurt! And this other one called Clyde threw a banana peel in front of me and I slipped on it earlier. :( Rotten squirrel monkeys.
