These lights! Suck suck suck!

Luggage Salesman: Have you thought much about luggage, Mr. Banks?
Joe Banks: No.
Luggage Salesman: It's the central preoccupation of my life.

Luggage Salesman:This is our premier steamer trunk, it's all handmade, only the finest materials. It's even watertight, tight as a drum. If I had the need, and the wherewithal, Mr. Banks, this would be my trunk of choice.
Joe Banks: I'll take four of them.
Luggage Salesman: May you live to be a thousand years old, sir.

Some people say a man is muscle and mud...

(Sorry this picture is gigantic, everyone.)

Are you Joe?

Joe Banks?

I love this movie.

I love it too although alot of people think it sucked. My theory is that those people just don't have the imagination to indulge in such a fable.

And it has some of the best lines...

Patricia: I wonder where we'll end up?
Joe Banks: Away from the things of man, my love. Away from the things of man.

I'm tired, i didnt sleep well, my back aches and my neck is stiff. yay...bring on the revision.

bollocks.

Today I finally received a cheque for work I did over three months ago (yay!). I took it into town to get it cashed. Then I realised it hadn't been signed (grr argh). I drove home again. I rang the woman involved. She apologised profusely and offered to do an electonic transfer straight into my bank account (now why the hell haven't they been doing that all along? I've been working for this mob for 18 months?).

The money just hit the account. She sent a $50 bonus. :D

I want to like it. Really, I do. But I just can't stand the way most of it is paced, and lit, and I just think the whole production is off. There are really only two parts of the movie that I like. When he is shopping, and when he is on the island. Aside from that, the rest of the movie just falls flat on its face for me.

Holy crap!

The Millau Viaduct (French: le Viaduc de Millau) is a large cable-stayed road-bridge that spans the valley of the River Tarn near Millau in southern France. Designed by French bridge engineer Michel Virlogeux and Foster and Partners, it is the tallest vehicular bridge in the world, with one mast's summit at 343 metres (1,125 ft) — slightly taller than the Eiffel Tower and only 38 m (125 ft) shorter than the Empire State Building. The viaduct is part of the A75-A71 autoroute axis from Paris to Béziers. It was formally dedicated on 14 December 2004 and opened to traffic two days later.

Construction records
The bridge’s construction broke three world records:

The highest pylons in the world: pylons P2 and P3, 244.96 and 221.05 metres in height respectively, broke the French record previously held by the Tulle and Verrières Viaducts (141 m), and the world record previously held by the Kochertal Viaduct (Germany), which is 181 metres at its highest;
The highest mast in the world: the mast atop pylon P2 peaks at 343 m.
The highest road bridge deck in the world, 270 m above the Tarn River at its highest point. It is nearly twice as tall as the previous tallest vehicular bridge in Europe, the Europabrücke in Austria. It is slightly higher than the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia in the United States, which is 267 m above the New River. Only the bridge deck of the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado, United States (mainly a pedestrian bridge over the Arkansas River, occasionally also used by motor vehicles) is higher with 321 m, and is considered the highest bridge in the world.

Nice! Where is it located?

I was so happy to find that I had started a new page with my reply. But then you had to go and quote her image and make the page wider than my screen again! Why?!?!?

*runs away screaming and crying* ;)

That doesn't even make grammatical sense.
If you're going to be a cunt about something, at least have the decency to word it properly. Or else talking vaginas really ARE smarter than you.

Actually, comprise can be used in that sense ("consist of") -- and she's from Malaysia, so English is probably not her native tongue.
