We just woke up. I had just finished giving my sweet little toddler his morning bottle when he looked at me and said, "fuck!"

It did not register. I am not used to be hit with the vernacular on the language of the free before 8 am.

Since his little experiment did not give him the right response, he went at it again, "fuck!"

I might have blinked. I was still confused, like,what is he saying, when he cleared all doubt from my mind, "fuck you!"

Ok, so we are happy he did turn out bilingual. But damn it is early. Much too early.

This has been tried by toddlers the world over, sweets. My folks handled it by repeating the word "truck" every time until the excitement of a toddler saying "fuck" simply wasn't worth it.
