I just went shopping (like an idiot, today is the biggest shopping day in the US), and bought Transformers* and The Simpsons Movie. I think I got the last copy of Transformers in the store.

*I have no idea why I waited this long to buy the DVD, but I finally have it now.

Cough syrup hallucinations are freaky.

I have (I think) about 20 minutes of lucidity out of every 4-hour period during which I must cram the domestic drudgery and writing before I get dizzy again.

I'm so glad all the shopping is finished and gifts wrapped.

Kiddie is watching a nitght before xmas mouse movie and I go in search of the husbands gifts to wrap while hes out. Can I find em...nope....think woman think *giggles* He may get them next xmas

I insisted on a real tree for this Christmas, like I used to have at home. Because of S' allergies, we weren't going to put it up until very close to Christmas. I tasked him with figuring out where we could still get a decent tree so late, because I warned him that a few days before Christmas, many places stop selling.

Of course, he didn't. When we got to the places he had quickly called a friend about, they were closed. I had a complete freakout and we both got mad at each other. I finally sent him back out by himself, and told him not to come home until he had a tree. He did go, but only after several minutes of being completely pissy.

Of course, when he did come home with a tree, having been out in horrible weather, I felt like a bitch and he felt like an ass and we kissed a lot.

But now I have a wonderful real tree standing in the living room, and it finally smells like Christmas is supposed to smell, and it's all good.
