Mrs has anxiety and crowd issues, so the crowds and excitement are a little much for her this particular weekend especially...All Holiday season in general, but especially now...

Anybody with powerpoint want to look over my little slideshow real quicklike? I'll email it...

Be warned, it's a tossed together thing, and still needs improvements.

I believe that's called "Damnesia Vu."

;)

"I just knew there was a name for it!"

"Name for what?"

"I dunno, what he said."

"Dealer takes two."

"Say--you know what comes after Middle Age?"

"Nope."

"The Furniture Age--That's when your chest falls into your drawers."

:D

I have a migraine or something. It hurts way too bad to concentrate on anything, and it just won't go away. I tried painkillers, resting in the dark, a hot bath and cocoa... NOTHING works. It's driving me insane.

Where does it hurt? Temples? Behind the ear? Forehead? Sinuses?

Try a heating pad on your neck and shoulders.

Stimulates blood flow to the brain where the capillaries are contracting.

Hope you feel better darlin'. :rose:

It sort of pulls upwards from my neck through the entire back of my head, behind the ear and to the top (I hope that made sense). My temples also hurt, not as badly as the back through.

Thanks for that. :rose: I just got the heating pad out and I'm sitting with it right now. I'm praying this will finally help.

Hmmm...sounds more like a stress headache...

Migraines, at least mine and other folks I've known, tend to focus more on the front...they kinda feel like a spike driven through your head....most of the time they are accompanied by auras...where colors take on a more pastel sense....you tend to be very light sensitive, black circles under the eyes....and floaters are very common....

migraines can't be helped with OTC medications...I suggest going to see your doc...

For me, nothing helped until Imitrex came out....it was a godsend...

Thanks. :rose: It's entirely possible (and most likely, now that I read your definition) that this is just a bad stress headache. I do have light sensitivity and slight blurriness of vision that comes and goes.

I don't know what floaters are though.

That would be a classic SCM issue. The SCM is a muscle that runs from just behind your ear to the divet between your clavicles (kind of). It's the one that sticks out when you lift your head up, on the front of your neck. Take it and gently squeeze it, then bring your hand down toward your chest while still squeezing it. You should be able to just grab it and follow it down. Repeat. Repeat again. And again.

What happens is that muscle gets tight and it pulls the whole backward question mark thing tight, which sets the nerves to screaming and causes the headache.

You are such a lifesaver. Thank you, thank you

It's not completely gone yet, but this and the heating pad combined have made it so much better.
