I trapped two opossums last week, we knew there was another smaller one as we saw it in the garbage one night, OMG I found it today...the silly thing went from one garbage can to another and then died....*queasy* awful awful smell. ick..ick..ick.

Where's Red?

She's moving, should be back online this coming week. The only connection she has to the Internet at the moment isn't reliable, so she's only on here and there.

I don't want to work tomorrow because it already feels like a holiday, even though Thanksgiving is still days away. *sigh*

Nonsensical, perhaps

For the flying fetus questioners...(I know, that was pages ago)
Jen: WTF is right. My friend, a boy, was rooked into a Jack and Jill baby shower yesterday (I'd already been shackled) by my tree-hugging friend Cara who had specified that there would be "outdoor activities".
What that meant, I had no idea, but mental case that he is, my friend had images of that being the game. He shared this image with me on the phone yesterday morning and I had to blurt.
Rob: Please, giggle. Gagging isn't nearly as fun. It's supposed to be funny, not sick. They aren't real babies.
Mils: I like the way your mind works. :)

Now that the shower is over I can say with certainty that the "outdoor activities" didn't actually include the crazy flying fetus game. Cara tied donuts from a tree with string and people had to try to eat them without using their hands.
We also did squash bowling. It's like regular bowling only it's outside and you use pumpkins for balls and the squash are the pins. That way you can snap off the pumpkin stems and scare the crap out of people as they go flying. Or, if you're really sneaky, you can hand Cara the pumpkin that was almost split in just the right way so that she doesn't know it's almost split, and then she bowls with it and the two halves rip apart and ricochet around after she rolls the pumpkin. The resulting yell is really quite charming. :D
Now you all know about things you probably had no interest in.

Blurt:
11pm on a Sunday night. Now I know the perfect time to call and get my car insurance sorted out. :cathappy:
(Those umbrella policies make me happy.)

Oh. There was string involved. Nice to know this little detail.
