blurt: I like being a very bad witch. I think I'll keep it for awhile.

Wait till you see Moostradamus. Or the Cosa Moostra.

eh. good witch, bad witch. they're just labels anyway.

blurt: I'm meeting my husband's mother for the first time today! EEEEK!

okay so i've talked to her for hours on the phone and we've been married 6 years but still. She's never been TO MY HOUSE before. And it's currently under construction.

* noises of utter panic and despair *

My SO's mother scares the shit out of me. I adore her, but she scares me. Picture the traditional stern Indian matron. That's her.

My mother-in-law really isn't all that bad. She's a bit controlling, but I've learned to deal with that. She still seems to like me. . .even after I told her that her chili wasn't really homemade. and I brought an apple pie to Thanksgiving dinner and no one ate her dessert.

When it was my birthday, I was in the hospital this year and I called her and asked a favor. I asked... instead of cash this year for my birthday (which she gives me every year) could she please bring me some balloons and flowers to the hospital. She did. She came with my brother-in-law with balloons and flowers, and still gave me the cash for my birthday.

She's a wonderful woman.

My future step-mother-in-law is very sweet and I get along great with her. My future mother-in-law seems reasonably normal, but I know what she did to my Fiance when he was a kid and I know what she's like underneath - I've seen glimpses. I don;t trust her an inch and she'll never be left alone with my children when I have them.

Vermilion AV...

just sayin'

My mother-in-law once got into a massive argument on the phone with my mother, because my mum said something disparaging about me (probably along the lines of I'm a selfish, ungrateful...etc etc).
I miss my mother in law (she died many years ago, before I was actually married).

Blurt: Red is an angel!

So i spent £20 for the month joining the gym today, £18 on a laptop/ gym bag and £33 in boots...

My cousin bought dinner and shisha...so i didnt have to worry about that...

Oh Fuck.
I big hairy Huntsman spider just took up residence (with much running about and waving of big hairy legs) on the door. And I have to go to the kids' school fete in half an hour. Leaving by the window is looking very good.

My tip would be to invest in a big fly swatter...

On the other side of the door, sadly. And it's moved. It's now on the top of the door jamb. There is no way I am walking under that thing!

Hmmm... ease it open, just a bit and then spray. :D

I wish it were that easy. He is a computer nut and knows how to get past computer blocking. as for calling, I just got a new cellie and his best friend found out the number from a friend of mine who said it by accident and I can't block calls. The dick is annoying. :(
