My daughters went off to trick or treat with friends.

My son and I walked a couple miles and he did very well for a Ninja who kept bumping into folks with his kantanas. (spelling)

My son and I got home early, so he got to pass out candy to folks... no not his candy. Candy we had here at the house. He enjoyed that too.

The girls are back, eating candy and homemade pizza. So is the son.

Damn, I was so busy I forgot to get candy and had to dig around when the first trick-or-treaters arrived at 6:10. Had to quick run out and grab some little butterfingers before the next batch arrived. The it was "one for them, one for me . . ."

Unfortunately, it was drizzling here, but there were still lots of kids around the neighborhood. They make me smile.

It is always a trial to judge how much candy to buy for Halloween. I tend to overbuy just a bit. But I always give out the stuff I don't like first, so if there is any left over, I will eat it. Whether I need to or not.
