I love the scarf. It's so much fun *and* it emphasises your movements so you can tell if you're doing them right...
My teacher made me feel slightly ashamed of loving the scarf so much though. She doesn;t wear one with coins, just with spangles and when I asked her why she said it's like some... progression thing. The better dancers get, the more simple their costumes... Now I feel bad for loving all the sparkly performance gear

The coins hide the movements, make them look a lot better. They are also a good way to tell if one's on rhythm.

I haven't got only coins, I have got also scarves with beads, pearls, shiny buttons, etc.

Man I'm tired yet I wish I could sleep. Tried sleeping at 7am and when that didn't work I got up at 10am. Slept off and on for 6 hours and decided to get up because I just couldn't sleep any more. Just glad I didn't have work today or I would have been in sad shape...

For god's sake don;t let it burn!

I always do that - expend loads of effort making something then, as soon as it's in the oven I relax and boomf - I forget about it and it burns.

Thanks Got the microwave timer on it.

The difficult part is that I shouldn't open the oven before it's done - otherwise it'll deflate and sink into itself (or whatever that's called). So I can't check it until the very end.

That's called "falling," and my pineapple upside down cakes always, always do that. Fortunately, it doesn't affect the taste in the least.
