I know the processor is fast enough and the video card should be good enough, so I think it's the memory that keeps the game from working like it should (it drags). I've checked desktop prices at Best Buy.com. It's amazing how much cheaper a computer is based on what they used to be. My old system (5 years) was a top of the line gaming rig and now the most basic computers have about the same stuff on them (with bigger hard drive and better processors) and are at least 3x cheaper.

yup, the new 'puters are sooo much better, cheeper, faster, etc etc
and I luv the new wide screen LCD monitors
u need at least 2 GB of mem with a new puter, 4 would be better for gaming

Edited to add: My first laptop was a VAIO. It came with a defective dvd drive and took so long to get fixed that the store exchanged it for the one I have now.
