Life can be so beautiful one instant and the other instant you're dragged down into reality... and then life isn't as beautiful as it was and you know it'll never be.

I want concorde! :catroar:
The Concord is no more, hon. We'll have to do with a new Gulfstream jet.

Was just telling minsue today how much I wanted to see the rest of the countries over there. Especially yours, but I watched a travel show that didn't make me feel really welcome.

There's a concorde parked in JFK. I've seen it.

What did the travel show say?????

Just watched the opening of Fame. It was an impulse buy... Now I want to go back to the 70s and wear leg warmers and have cool hair. I wanna be the guy playing funked up classical stuff on the keyboards. I wanna live forever! I wanna learn how to fly - HIGH! Fame rocks! :)

My satellite radio reception keeps cutting in and out on me. It is very annoying. Is there a lot of sunspot activity the last few days or something, or is my radio just messed up?

Yeah, but nowhere in that film is a bit where they say 'why don;t we do the show here'?

I only saw it for the first time a week ago!

Dang, at least give me twenty-four hours! I'm used to living alone. You can't just drop a fifteen year old on me. I have to hide all my... stuff.

Nothing ugly about the Welsh, really, but that they are constantly overrun by tourists and get tired of it. Additionally, a quirky thing with them that they normally all speak Gaelic ... right up until they hear someone speaking American English in their midst, and then they all convert right over to English. Nothing in the show that would put me off of visiting. Quite the contrary, actually, because the places they showed were amazing. Just that I wouldn't really want to go visiting without a sexy, blonde native showing me the way.

Chipotle Glazed Chicken with Avocado

Ingredients

8 Chicken Thighs - Boneless, Skinless, about 1-1/4 lb (625 g)
1/2 cup (125 mL) Beer & Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup (50 mL) Beer & Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
1 bunch asparagus, thick woody ends trimmed
1/4 cup (50 mL) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 tsp (1 mL) freshly ground black pepper
1 cup (250 mL) White Corn & Black Bean Salsa
1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup (50 mL) Sour Cream

Preheat barbecue to medium heat. In resealable plastic bag, combine chicken thighs with 1/2 cup (125 mL) BBQ sauce; close bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Place chicken thighs flat on greased grill, discarding plastic bag and any sauce left in it. Close lid. Cook for 8 minutes, turning thighs halfway. Open lid. Turn and baste chicken frequently with 1/4 cup (50 mL) BBQ sauce for 3 to 4 minutes or until chicken is glazed and cooked through. Transfer to plate; tent with foil to hold warm.

In bowl, toss together asparagus, oil and pepper. Place asparagus on grill. Cook uncovered for 3 to 4 minutes, turning frequently, or until tender-crisp.

Divide asparagus among four dinner plates, placing off to one side of plates. Place 1/4 cup (50 mL) salsa on other side of each plate. Place two pieces of chicken on top of each mound of salsa. Peel and slice avocado into 12 lengthwise slices; place three slices of avocado over chicken. Dollop sour cream on top of avocado. If desired, serve with cornbread and garnish with wedge of lime and fresh coriander leaves.
