you can borrow my muse for a little while.. she's starting to run stories together and it's making it difficult to think.

isolated blurt: I wish I knew why parts of my body hurt.

I *want* to write, but my muse has flown the coop, so I can't come up with one frickin' idea.

*HUGS* Crim.

I've got lots of ideas but my interest in writing has gone bye-bye.

Dear horse, do pause to take a breath
And give thy tongue a moment's rest.
Measure wit 'gainst will and time;
Leave idle tiffs for idle rhymes.
For rhymes have pleasure for excuse,
While long, dull wrangles lull with use.
Let ev'ry donkey have his day;
No ass needs company to bray.

How many times have I told you to stay out of those political threads? :D

Lots of clapping from the Cherry Baby. Take a vacation from the "serious" threads ;)

Unrelated blurt: Yes, it's done :nana: Ignoring there's a whole other one to do.

Ever get a contact buzz from someone else's good fortune that you helped to create?

I'll stop being Incredibly annoying. After that I will be credibly annoying, and then just plain old ibly annoying for a while. maybe someday I will learn to cut the ibly out, but I'm just not sure that can ever be done ;)

What an absolutely miraculous explosion of musical creativity occurred over a very short span of years in the 1960s. I heard Camille Paglia say one time that she felt sorry for the musicians that came after, because it is a frighteningly monumental legacy to live up to. Some people chuckle at 21st C teeny boppers grooving to Hendrix, Zeppelin, Janis, CSNY or Cream, but why shouldn't they - the pure energy of it is head-spinning. Yeah, there's been a ton of great stuff since, but that kind of Renaissance outpouring is a priceless rarity.

(To Misty: Yeah, Joni too. :) )

(To me: The Mamas and the Papas - damn, they were good. The Beatles - timeless.)

If anyone wants to start a memories thread I'll chime in.

Now, don't take things too far there. You won't be you anymore and we love ya just the way you are. :)
