I didn't deal well with this a year ago, and I'm not dealing well with it now, and I don't know whether it's easier to sit here and not cope, or go through the whole trauma again :(

Shall spend the first night in my new apartment tonight. The wife arrives from UK this evening, she hasn't seen it since 3/4's through build. Now it's decorated and furnished and I'm hoping she's going to like it. :cool:

Part of me wants to go home, back to my normal life; part of me wants to stay here, in this crazy yet fun circle of friends.

Over the past 3 days, I have done things I'd never done before, and although it scares me, it also excites me. I may lose the person I'd always been prior to this weekend. I've grown so fond of her; she's strong, but she doesn't normally take risks...or maybe that's why she's strong. While the person I've been over the last few days is an absolute ball. She does things as she pleases, and she does not rationalize much. She's one I've always wanted to be, but afraid to.

I'm seriously considering moving here. The rent is much cheaper, and I can transfer my co-op to a spot at a university near here. Don't know if that will ever happen yet, so for now, I'm going home.
