Speaking of ringing and no one being there....

Vana did you receive a really strange phone call yesterday? The person on the other end had no idea that they called you and may have been singing loudly while driving to the airport? (did I get that right Dampy?) :p
Those are the types of calls I get regularly. . . but the one you're refering to was at 3 am, and it went to my voicemail, as I figured it was Zade leaving a stoned message. No singing though . . .

I might still have it. *goes to check for blackmailing purposes*

I don't mind, but you may have to wait til that "someone else" shows up and ask her. ;)

Ooh, but if we do agree on that av theme, each ring av must have a story behind it.

Does it have to be a story or can it be more of an explanation? Stories are eluding me today but I can at least explain things.

Can I have a copy of it too?

Easy...... first you get 157 monkeys, and train them to twirl raw pasta dough into ever smaller and smaller threads. Reeses monkeys are preferred for their small hands, and peanut butter and chocolate flavoring. Then baked, not boil, bake! the noodles at 350 for 15 minutes but you have to use a special swirly pan to make them fit all scrunched up like they are in the package. Then you get retired robot ninjas to wrap the packaging around the noodles while alien vampires pour space dust into the flavor packs.

Superman is not my favorite comic hero, not by a long shot, but I can empathize with his "fortress of solitude" need. I spend much too much time and energy helping others, swooping in to save them from whatever crisis ( real or imagined) is troubling them, and stand with my hands on my hips as if nothing can hurt me. I do have powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men, and yet.... there are times I just want to go away, to hide from the world, and rejuvenate, to find myself, to not be Superman but to simply be me. I feel the weariness of being extraordinary and though it has its benefits, it has its drawbacks.

That is why this ring appeals to me.

Yes yes I do.

I have an encyclopedic knowledge of the useless and dork like.

That and everything can be explained with robot ninjas and alien vampires.
