See, I knew it. I think when I hit the lottery I'll have a light-speed rail line dug from our house to yours. Sometimes we need to be impressed. (A lot lately, it seems.) Plus, there are more folks near your area that could hop on and ride in with you.

In life I think I am capable of communicating through speaking. I have to, with what I do for a living. Same with writing. But I don’t speak in verse. I consider myself to be fairly plain spoken and try to judge the best time to speak and when to shut up.

But speaking is not near as important as listening. I would much rather be a great listener than even a good speaker…

It's settled. This year's get together here was toned way down from last year. Most excellent, still, in a different way. Next year, however, I think we'll try to go big again. I'll be out of school and working, Vella will hopefully have some off-time accrued, and if everyone starts planning and saving now, we should all be able to rock the love shack!

I like the idea of all of us buying homes together on the same street somewhere. We just rotate where we go for dinner, and all close enough so no need to worry about the drinking...

...and if you run down the street naked, it's highly unlikely the neighbors will complain.
