What is it you're trying to write, if I may ask? I've had certain things I wanted to write get under my skin real bad. Usually, I find a way around it or under it or some other way, but other times I just chuck it.
The end of Laresa. . .*sigh* I can't chuck it. I don't want to either. I just have to break through the wall of self doubt. It is a thick, high wall.

Do you have a test reader you can trust? Maybe write more than one of this upcoming section, and see what they think. I am not familiar with Laresa, or I'd offer to help out.

I have faith. You'll find a way. :rose:

Why am I telling him all this? And, well, why is he understanding all of it and agreeing with it? He needs to fight it - tell me I mean enough to want to do it anyway.

* * * * *

Where did that come from? It was just too close for comfort and I don't know whether to be insulted or not.

I do have folks to read it. . .IF I had something to offer them. :)

Thanks. :rose:

Hey Red!

I just nattered at ya on the 'Mood' thread for sayin' you were useless, but now it's self doubt?

Crimenalities lady, yer one of the top writers on Lit. and you're having doubts?

I can understand puttin' -30- on Laresa has got you down, but everything has an ending, and this is hers.

Send her off with a volley of skyrockets and move along.

And focus that amazingly creative mind of yours onto something else. :D

I second this motion.

Don't make me spank you when we meet in Chicago. ;)

Agreed. Better when they are sleeping in your lap. :)

Sleeping Child: Michael Learns to rock

The Milky Way upon the heavens
is twinkling just for you
and Mr. Moon he came by
to say goodnight to you
I'll sing for you I'll sing for mother
We're praying for the world
and for the people everywhere
gonna show them all we care

Oh my sleeping child the world's so wild
but you've build your own paradise
That's one reason why
I'll cover you sleeping child

If all the people around the world
they had a mind like yours
we'd have no fighting and no wars
there would be lasting peace on Earth
If all the kings and all the leaders
could see you here this way
they would hold the Earth in their arms
they would learn to watch you play

Oh my sleeping child the world's so wild
but you've build your own paradise
That's one reason why I'll cover you sleeping child
I'm gonna cover my sleeping child
Keep you away from the world so wild

Pounce!

Hey, you! Big hug and  !

Look what you started with your cartoon week, doll - great fun! (I did make an effort to play and posted it on your thread, but my web tools and knowledge are very limited in the area of av resizing and stuff.) Your current av is breathtakingly evocative, btw - did you say Fem had something to do with it? It's a winner.

Hope you have a great week ahead, in which, among other things, you get some good nights' sleeps.

 :rose:

Love you,

Me

It's SNOWING!!!
Weird -

We had a couple 70 degree F days here a week ago, just enough to sucker me and others I'm sure into start thinking about backyard barbecues and cleaing up the screen porch, and then - wham! - back into the deep freeze. No snow here, just cold and windy. Nasty. I am ready for some moderation.

I have never heard of it snowing in this part of England this time of the year. It's very odd. But I'm enjoying it. Snow has magical connotations for me :cathappy:

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

:D

Is there a couch infront of the fire place?
