Yep, me too, but hubby's the type that doesn't want me going on trips like that alone, and he certainly won't come with me. I mentioned it to him a couple of times, but he just kind of brushed it off. It's a doable trip. It's only a 7 hour drive. *pouts*

Hub has the option of going with me, but I think I am going to go alone. I have never made a trip like this alone, so I am looking forward to it. To just try something on my own for a change is a big step for me. I worry I will get close and then freak out and turn around and go home. . . or I'll get lost and won't find my way to the hotel. It is a 3 hour drive for me.

Hub has the option of going with me, but I think I am going to go alone. I have never made a trip like this alone, so I am looking forward to it. To just try something on my own for a change is a big step for me. I worry I will get close and then freak out and turn around and go home. . . or I'll get lost and won't find my way to the hotel. It is a 3 hour drive for me.

Oh, I'd go alone if he let me. I'd probably get a little nervous once I got into the city though. I'm from a small town, so the traffic would be intimidating.

I've driven on the outskirts of Indianapolis and in Indianapolis to get to the Zoo and Children's museum.... I got lost. Eventually found it.

As long as I have AN EXCELLENT map, I will make it. . .I hope. *bites lower lip. . . it really is the only thing I am nervous about. . .It's almost a panic if I think about it. *

Yahoo Maps gives excellent directions. I drove from Milwaukee to Albuquerque following Yahoo's directions to the letter.
