Funny...not.

My cat is obsessed with my guitar case. She likes to get in it and have me close it. We've been going through this little game for nearly 13 years and she never tires of it. Every time she sees me get my guitar out she gets so excited and will sit and cry until I open the case up and take out the guitar so she can jump in. Then she cries until I close it with her in it.

She's so fucking weird.

Oh but it was funny :D

Hehe aww she sounds adorable!

My cat used to LOVE getting into boxes...he just used to sit in them...curl up in them, eat in them, play in them...sleep in them...everything. My baby sister loves boxes too- *ponders* no...the cat died after she was born so no reincarnation or anything lol...

I dunno... trying to shut herself away from the world... there's an odd sort of logic to it.
Does she like getting shut in other stuff?

keep those away from me...

I have the willpower edge over most candies...but those are very, very hard to resist.

We need a 'rant' thread, perhaps I should start one.
Some twat on the telly, supposedly educated just talked about the poet Coleridge... calling him Cole-ridge, not col-er-idge. Honestly. Rookie error.

without fail, discussion of Coleridge makes me think about what I sometimes call "The Porlock Problem". Coleridge's notes on Kubla Khan refer to having awoken from a nap/trance (speculated by some to have been opium induced) with some 300 lines in his head...only to be interrupted by a "a person on business from Porlock" who detained him for an hour or more...and when he returned to his work, the lines had fled his mind.

my Person From Porlock is most commonly a child who wants attention...but it is a problem I have in my writing...and why most of my writing gets done late at night

We do have a venom thread. I'm sure it can be used for rants.

My tv is on NASCAR.

And yes, I live alone.

Mine is too... but I don't. I'm interested enough to stay in the same room with it, even if it's just to look occasionally to see how Jr. is doing.

:D

Glad I'm not alone. I really don't follow NASCAR, but I heard a piece on Jr's problems with his stepmom on ESPNradio this morning. Guess I might have to root for him a little.

My dad's watching as we speak. >.<

I however am watching Double Dare 2000. :D
Okay, I don't feel nearly so bad now. When Seven Brides for Seven Brothers went off, I was at a loss. So sports as usual won the day. Wasn't up to watching Phil, but I'll probably check on him too.

There is nothing, NOTHING more sacred, than watching my daughter in those moments between wakefulness, and sleep.

I'm too young to know Seven Brides for Seven Brothers also. My mom made me watch it once. All those dancing redheads? *fans self* I still watch the barnraising scene if nothing else when it's on.

Bless your beautiful hide...

Gideon. They were alphabetical by age I think. I think the song is in the very beginning, but it could have been in there more than once. I didn't really like the Sabine Women song though.

Cute flick overall.
