*Walks into the thread with a bowl of popcorn, and sits down next to Vana to enjoy the show*

So who do you want to win?
Ha! Whatever happens, Vana wins.

Stay away from her...........she's old.
At least I don't wreak of death.

Come girls........those dusty feathers are making me sneeze....let's go back to my bar and have an evening of debauchery.

I don't know, Abs... Are you going to make me?

Personally, I don't see that you're up to the challenge... *wink*
that's because she's old and will forget she even said it.

*passes the popcorn* I was always kind of partial to Sam, personally. I don't like smoke.
Me too. But don't tell anyone.

No, no. It's not like that. I like Abs too. Really.

Heathens. I'll leave you two with the harbinger of death while I wisk Vana away.

Wisk? *glances through the thread* Seems to me any "wisking" should have happened 15-20 posts ago...

Mortal.........what little you know........I already have her. :p

The above Sam/Abs conversation with Vana salivating and Dampy and Ghost deciding which they side with was amusing me muchly :D thanks for the smile ladies...;)

~~ Ok, so i've been getting some unsolicited letters of late- today was from Action Aid- *apparently* i enquired about sponsoring a child. I don't class this as junk mail, as that is an entirely different sort of dragon that refuses to stay slain (sorry Vana...).

I would love to do what i could for the particular child whose details they have unceremoniously thurst upon me, however, the form is PRE PRINTED and the 'amount to sponsor' is £180! now i can pay that sum monthly/ quarterly/per annum whichever i chose.

However, a) it is assumptive of them to send me the details (im not saying it's not a worthy cause at all) b) to then assign me to £180! personally i don't have the finances to afford that. I donate to Shelter and the Make Poverty History Campaign. I try and do my bit where i can, and i feel so so bad that i cant do my bit in this case. *sighs*

That's just gone and made me feel more worthless than i already feel. Hooray. And the worst thing is, mental anguish is the last thing that may well cause problems for those struggling in Developing countries. Yay.

*big sigh*

There's still no snow... :(

I've spent most of today gazing out of the window, waiting for it to come. I expect it'll wait now until I'm fast asleep, so I'll miss all the blizzards.

I don't think we're going to get it too badly where I am. It'll be fun if it causes some disruption tomorrow, though :D

Best case realistic scenario:

* Loads of teachers are snowed up and can't come to work.
* Loads of kids get carried away with the snow, and don't bother coming to school.
* As there are so few people there, they decide to close the school....

I live in hope :catroar:

We were just " group-called" to inform us that schools are closed tomorrow. C is arranging a Snow-sleepover as I type!!

Damn it! That's so not fair....

Will sticking my finger out of the window make it come faster? Or is it one of those 'watched pot never boils' things?

I'm going to be unbearable if it doesn't snow here...

I've heard it's gonna dump on Cymru like anything.

I'm leaving my house at 8 am to make it to uni for 11am...i usually leave at 9:30am... im one of those people that gets very very flustered if delayed or late. I'd rather be insanely early. Between 5 and 10 cm's of snow! ha! The city came to a deafening halt when it was 2 cm's! and i STILL dont get how snow affects the UNDERGROUND!!!! *screams in annoyance*

Can you tell im a hardcore commuter yet?
