I need to join the ranks of Vella, Ari and Mat in the back hurting brigade...mine is fucking killing me. I dont understand why, but ow :(

Maybe we should start a club.

I should go to my chiropractor, but at £25 a corrective session i can't afford it! :(

Note:Carob treats are often available as dog treats; these are unrelated to chocolate and are safe.

I've been meaning to go to a chiro not to get "adjusted," but to get "educated," like "sleep, walk, stand, sit this way not that way, do these exercises and stretches not those, etc."

Yeh...didnt work. I got told off for reading my book with a hunch back while i waited to be seen to.

I have crap posture no matter how much my Chiro worked on me...:S!

~~ on the 'what not to feed pets' discussion- cat's are lactose intolerant, but my cat LOVED cheese...and would eat it all day long if offered. I wonder if my cat was reincarnated into my baby sister? *hmmm*

I'm tired of being pressured...

Today's my son's birthday! He's 18 years old now. What's more, he got the obligatory notice from Selective Service in the mail.

He wants to pre-emptively claim exemption because he has an autism spectrum disorder, which was diagnosed when he was 7 years old, plus until he was around 16 or so, he'd been prescribed every ADD med known to man. I figure that as stretched as the military is, they probably have a Don't Ask Don't Tell policy towards that kind of thing.

Lord knows I don't want him involved in THIS stupid war, but should he permanently let himself out of whatever advantages the might accrue to being in the service, such as getting his college education paid for?

Last night we went trailing from one electronics store to another, trying to find the thing he wanted for his birthday...evidently, there is but one Nintendo DS Lite in America...and it's pink, so it's out of the question.
