That speaks to me all too well. My heart goes out to you, Rob.

I would love to know what you really think of me...like...your deepest most honest opinions, sentiments, reactions, feelings, motivations surrounding me.

I just want to know if i feel things too strongly. Are my 'emotions' unfounded and fickle?

Tell me, please. I need to know.

Yanno... i really don't think it's a migraine if you complain about having one, then go play with polyurethane finish less than five minutes later, THEN come inside and fuck around with the blender... but i may be wrong.

I have too many emotions. Instead of going numb and being emotionally crippled, like I usually get, I am overpowered with sadness and confusion and have absolutely no outlet for any of it. Crying doesn't help, I've tried billions of times to cry all of the pain out of me and the tears keep coming but the lump never quite goes away. Little things are triggering me and my entire outlook on life right now and I am reading into everything perhaps a little too much. I can't sleep and if by some miracle I do fall asleep, I have a feeling it won't be for too long. My mind is racing, spinning and coming back again. Everything is coursing in and out and a coherent thought doesn't stay too long. But that's what life is, right? Life, in general is hardship, pain, sadness and the few glints of light and the utterly and simply happy that we hold onto and convince ourselves that everything evens out and that we'll be okay. Life is about losing and loss and preparing ourselves to deal with it when it comes so we won't implode into ourselves.

That's how I feel. Like I am imploding, like my mind really doesn't make much sense, but it hardly ever does. I've always been a little too crazy for it to be comfortable and working through that has been one of the hardest things for me to overcome in my life. Making sense and telling myself that it's okay and that if I just push a little further I'll reach the light at the end of the tunnel, if you will. However, I'm not really sure whether that is true or not, but here's to hoping.

Living, on the other hand, is about noticing and discovering all the millions of beautiful and unexpected little things that life holds. If they don't come on a plate, then always make sure that you've got time to go out and look for them. With the exception of death, most of the heavy, serious stuff in life has been made up by people and isn't actually 'real'. :rose:
