Ok, and im ot just saying this coz of just now...but in general.

It's really really frustrated to keep being told how 'young' i am. Like, coz im 19 i don't have a sense of myself, or i can't make decisions, or im too young to feel so down all the time etc etc.

I'm NOT young, im just younger. That, and ive been an adult in most people's eyes since i was 10. *sigh* im not young, im mature and grown up, i know how to handle myself- granted that sometimes im not too mature and other times i handle myself diabolically...but we all do.

That said, i may not have as much life experience as some, but ive sure had a hellova lot of responsibility. More so than anyone else i know my age.

*sigh*

so, no whippersnapper/jailbait/baby/littl'un...etc.

christ.

ok...blurt over.
"Young" has many connotations. When I use it in reference to you I do so primarilly in the context of your status on the threshold of life as an independent adult out in the world, sorting out all the opportunities, potentialities, and practical challenges. Also, in the context of a young woman with lively hormones sorting out all that accompanies that side of life, complicated by the sexual preference/identity issues. Add it together, and you have quite a full plate, and quite a challenging task to navigate all that toward a happy and fulfulling life.

When I was 14 and just starting high school a wise teacher told our class something that I have found very valuable ever since. He told us that our station in life at that moment was "student," and we should apply ourselves to it with dilligence and dedication. Our station will change and become many different things over our lives - employee, boss, wife, mother, etc. Whatever your station at a given stage of life, the same advice applies - do your best to fulfill it well.

One of the things I respect about you, Grace, is that you exhibit a maturity that causes you to implicitly understand this, and pursue the tasks that are properly yours at this stage of your life with dilligence and dedication. That is also why I have such confidence that you will indeed find your way to a happy and fulfilling life. :rose:

Do you know anything about coastal erosion?
Yeap, the bad news is that the water washes the land away but the good news is that it also deposits minerals and silts to replace it in other places.....

Okay that general, what do you need specfically...

Ok... why is it that some layers of rock 'fold' as a result of coastal erosion? Answer me that, and I'll love you forever

I could eat the sandwiches, and I wouldn't complain, and I'd probably tell you they were very nice... but if you went to M&S I'd love you forever and ever  :catroar:
