I'll bet you can think of some wonderful blessings to count. Start small if you're stuck - you get to have a tasty lunch or dinner today, and every day. :rose: But you can probably think of bigger ones than that. (Actually, that's a pretty big one in itself - something that's worth remembering at such times, especially when one thinks of the multitudes who don't even have that.)

Yeah I can think of some small blessings, yeah I have plenty more than some....but....does it make my pain less worth mentioning because of it?:(

I agree with everyone else here. I may not have known you long, but I know a fantastic person when I meet them and you definitely fit the bill, without a shadow of a doubt. Just know that you have friends all over the world and they all love you. :rose:

Thanks sweetie :rose:

You're a good kid and I appreciate you saying that.

I'd miss you more than I'd miss anybody outside my immediate family, that's what.

We've been friends for two years and I hope we're friends for a lot more.

Already two years huh? God, where did the time fly? Thanks, my friend. :rose:

Perhaps it is unkind of me to mention it, certainly so without at least acknowledging your pain and conveying my sympathy. Which I now do: You have my sympathy. :rose:

As I've said before, I think the willingness to count blessings even in the face of pain is one of the keys to a happy life. Sadness is an inseparable part of every life, so we need something to balance it. :rose:

It doesn't feel like Christmas.

Not for me either, but it seems to me that it hasn't felt like Christmas for me at Christmas time in several years.

Rise above your sorrow, dear, and just love whoever and whatever you can find to love. I had that same problem in 1976, and it was my friends who carried me through. You can do it. There are so many here who feel your pain. Let them take it all for a while.

My my, was your civil tongue during my review anything to do with having let it loose on saturday? Oh, don't worry, once i am off probabtion at the end of January, i will be mentioning the incident to Siobhan, and if she cant respect that i wanted to make sure iwas secure in my job before mentioning it, then that's her problem, she has an obligation to follow it up.

~~ I agree with Vana, it doesnt feel like xmas- it seems less so each year. But then i guess that's coz i dont buy present for anyone. My parents hate being bought for- because they feel the ££ can be better spent elsewhere, and so to save my poor ears form a lecture i dont bother (though i am planning something particularly lvoely for their 25th wedding anniversary  ) I dont buy for my sisters because they are so hard to buy for- we always get loads of things between us that my parents pick out. Don't buy for uni friends coz we're all past that- used to do the whole pressie thing at high school for bdays and xmas :)

Xmas is usually spent watching the kiddies open their stuff, being sincerely grateful for the few but nice gifts i do get from my parents. watching a bit of TV and eating lots of chocolate. I'll probs be on the pc later on in the day.

That and Dad has to work xmas day again :(

I have just discovered one of the secrets of the universe. The best chaser for a SoCo is a Jack and Lime. Jack in left hand, shotglass of comfort in my right. And a bottle of both in front of me.

he he . . . :cathappy:

I have come to the conclusion that if it does not snow this xmas, i will buy Asda outs of Reddy Brek and sprinkle it generousaly all over my garden. It looks so much like snow :D and after all that...i can hire a helicopter to spill milk all over my garden so we can eat it all up :D

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good girl this year (minus the lessie sex ;)) so please could you arrange for every woman i have ever fancied and find attractive to be wrapped in exquisite lingerie and sitting under my tree on xmas morning. If my house happens to be one of the 1st places you drop off, then just let them know they can all get better acquinted with each other till i wake up ;) if this means they unwrap each other, i don't mind as long as they wrap up again for my turn :D

***hmmmm should i risk eating another apple today...?***

His voice is changing. He's wearing a men's shoe size, and I'm confusing his jeans with mine in the laundry. Damn! He's only 11.

So I'm determined to hit 205 or so now. Exercise, stop drinking pop and snacking and all that.

Goddamnit do I hate myself.
