You're not rude. We had plenty of brew last night. My folks are in town this weekend, and we hung out with them. V hasn't had beer in forever because of the meds she's been on with her back, so it was nice. Otherwise, we have the tree up. It needs lights and decor, but I suppose we'll do some of that today. The rest is just making Christmas gifts and getting last minute details wrapped up before the holidays. I think we need music to help us fully get into the mood. I hope your afternoon is good and that you find a little spirit along the way.

You're not rude. We had plenty of brew last night. My folks are in town this weekend, and we hung out with them. Opted for some tuna salad on rosemary bread before i get totally blotto.

Tree got finished this morning & looks good. decorations were limited bacuase we're not sure how the kittens will react and don't want to break any of the heirloom ornaments. So far they've been good, but being cats, the hard part will be when we're not home.

Howevah, i did have to turn off the Christmas music. After 4 hours, i was afraid of turning homocidal. Now, rockin out and feeling a little less maniacal. Although catching up on papaerwork still sucks, only 5 more days and Italy takes a 2 week break. I'm planning on taking full advantage of it.

Thats it, im going on strike now.

I have:

Dealt with 3 loads of washing and put a new load in.

Cleaned all the venetian blinds upstairs- do you KNOW how difficult and disgusting that is?

Wiped all horizontal surfaces in my bedroom and en suite, and the same in M's room.

Cleared the floor area and swept my bedroom and M's

Dusted for dustbunnies in the corners and picture rails in the hallway, dusted the slats of the banister.

Hoovered the landing, the stairs and the downstairs hallway.

I also fed N twice and looked after her whilst doing all the above.

I think im done for the day.

So far you have cleaned the bathroom and cooked dinner- which in all fairness is something that just sits and simmers for 4 hours.

HA!! i cant belive you just asked me to do that...*psssht* fuck off...the reason i feel i can 'just stop' while the rest of you 'carry on' is because you lot have only just started, and ive done far more than all of you put together today.

Damn, that's hot. Around 120 degrees, right? August is the worst because the African heat wafts upward and scorches everybody. Temps in Greece skyrocket during that time, and old people fall out in the street and go to the hospital for heat exhaustion and sunstroke.

OK, so when i said chapter 8 was finished earlier- i lied. I have now added to it and i am happy. I am actually surprised at chapter 8 as a first draft...im ok with how it is without having to change it, but when it comes to posting it i shall have to see what edits are recommended

erm, i am so going to have gas tomorrow...kidney beans are NOT good.

I need to start writting my 2nd lab report. and make sure i give myself enough time to do a thorough proof read...i cannot beleive that i didnt spot that shit in my 1st report...*smacks forehead*

I need chocolate. Those tiny little choc buttons were pathetic. i need fat dairy milk or...yorkie...or something big and chunky like that.
