If you unwittingly dropped into conversation that you were leaving your bf because you realised you had a deep repressed penchant for women, i would probably drop everything i was holding and take you in my arms and absolutely ravage you till you couldnt take it anymore.

You are ridiculously jaw dropingly hot and i have to use every ounce of willpower to not do anything stupid. (im blaming you for lack of willpower to study and excersise) However, it has entered my conciousness that regardless of the exhaustion applied to my will, i am unable to hold a conversation with you- no matter how breif without either babbling like an idiot, stringing 20 uhm's/ahh's and erm's together peppered with few meaningless words, or going red. Let's just remember that my complexion doesnt allow for blushing often.

*unrelated* this fucking keyboard is about to be thrown against the fucking wall.

*unrelated* yeah...maybe i am needy- i bet you're all thinking i am. but maybe thats at the cost of other things- like...self esteem.

Tend to your karma, brother of mine, before it's too late. You won't like reaping this that you're sowing. You might be an asswipe, but I want better for you than being a bitter, cranky curmudgeon when you're only 34.

Happy Hanukkah! :)

I've lit a candle for the first night (even though I'm probably supposed to wait until nightfall, rather than doing it right after midnight - I'm not orthodox anyway. :D )

Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends, including one very special and beloved Jewish witch.

Hugs. :rose: You're in my thoughts, dear Vana. You and Sam are both in my thoughts. I wish you both a much happier New Year.

No, for you it hardly could, this side of the grave. It can get over, though, and it will in 15 days. In one week the days start getting longer.

Her name is Nirvana ;)

Go to bed, Darling :rose:
Believe it or not, I'm still working for a few more minutes. And not complaining, because after the next couple days I will enter a dead period in which I can expect to become angsty about not having enough on my plate and feeling like I'm not carrying my weight. Remind me then of the 80 hours I will have put in this week. ;)

Oh, I totally understand that. I've been feeling it for a while, though. In terms of work, I cannot even begin to think how little I have done this year, and how unmotivated I have been. Thank Goodness I have a strong team, and good work Ethic. Goddess Knows where I would be without either, right now.

Next year, however . . . I have to make up for it in more ways than one.

I cant believe i couldnt find it. I must make sure it goes back where i always intended it to be- behind the photo in the photo frame.

I wanted to post this because it'll help get it off my chest- that is all
(also i am aware that its a naff poem, i wrote it over 3 years ago when i was just exploring poetry.)

As the first granddaughter of the family, I feel it my responsibility to represent my sisters and my cousins who never had the chance to get to know Nanaji. When the family lived in Wandsworth I used to be my second home. Most of my childhood memories are there, like when he used to take the time to play hide and seek with me and let me win.

I remember those times when he’d be late getting me from school…and he’d buy me a little present to say he was sorry because I would be really upset. I was watching the old video of my monan…and nanaji was looking so much younger…and fitter and happier…he was the one pining me down while my hair was being shaved off.

I’ve been told that nanaji is the one responsible for teaching me how to walk, and how proud he was to have his first granddaughter.

I’d just like to thank you for all being here today; it means so much to see so many of you here to honour Nanaji’s life. I’d like to end my speech with a little poem I wrote on May 28th 2004 called ‘Tomorrow is almost here’

What would I say tomorrow?
When talking to the air
When you are not there

What would you have said?
If you could have stayed
If you could talk today

I learnt to walk by your hand
From your second came your first
For your knowledge I had thirst

I wish I got to know you better
I wish I had taken the time to
Sit, talk, laugh and joke with you

That’s tomorrow, we have a night
It’s not all there
Now here we are in today
So many things I want to say

I don’t want you to leave
But one day you will
And here I shall remain still

The man in that room separated
The man in the wheelchair
The one that sat there and he had no hair

A life lived for so long
A kiss goodbye and a cuddle
The itchiness of your stubble

I’ll miss your stubborn old ways
I’ll remember those childhood times we had.

*unrelated* i have more overtime- Siobhan just rang, so im going in today. it'll keep me busy and stop me thinking too much. I hope Tash is there so i can drool and consider every posible manner in which i could take her- given half the chance.

At this point I think I'll love anyone who feeds me and makes me laugh. And snuggles please... that too.

Warm Nanaji memories are now part of the consciousness of many former strangers who live all over the world. Including one in the Midwest of the United States, who sits here looking out a window at a late autumn landscape, watching squirrels chase each other over the lawn and up big maple trees.
