I'm listening to house music....I find that does it too. Though why I'm staying awake is kind of beyond me at the moment. I really doubt I'll start my paper tonight and therefore I really should be sleeping.

True, but down time is important, too, and sometimes that isn't accomplished by sleeping; we have to do other things we enjoy, too.

Ahhh, but how I would love to sleep for 24 hours straight right now. I think I'll keep getting ready for bed while being on and off the computer some more. It's the battle between wanting to chat with friends and knowing sleep would be good, and feel heavenly.

I understand that...I have that little burn at the edge of my eyes...leftover from a late night last night and working through most of my lunchbreak...busy day...
but I also need to get moving on another story...Imp and I met one deadline, but I still have another to meet...

No, probably not. The meaning itself is not special; it's from an inscription by Darius the Great in which he is talking about his military skill, but I like the sound of the words and the repetition -- it's almost poetic.
