*sigh* believe me when I say I've been here and done this....

for some reason, it is never that simple.... I'm sorry to say....
Being abused by someone and saying you once loved that person and believing he will suddenly turn into a good guy one fine day and that's why you're waiting it out is sane behaviour? For two years? No really. How can someone believe they can change another person? If it's shit, you move out. You don't sit and hope one day it will be roses.

Hmmmm.... selected and tailored stories on a thumb drive, along with your name and cell phone number, lost in front of a certain young ladies or group of young ladies residence...

you may have just invented a new way to pick up girls..... :D

Or let loose one hell of a plot bunny....
Now that is an idea. Bit expensive though. Those things aren't cheap. To be honest I don't think my name was even on anything in there. I think it was on some of the music notation files, but very few people have the software you need to read it.

Lord knows I need all the help I can get when it comes to picking up girls.

On another note, it might be wise to actually look for pedestrians before you make a turn at a stop sign. They're not actually worth any points if you run them over, just jail time. Poor girl got a little too up close and personal with an SUV this morning. She didn't get hit, but she was literally an inch away from the car. And no, I wasn't the one driving, I was in the car behind the one that almost hit the girl. Gees.

That's just the thing I went through with someone for six years.... They did finially leave but ended up with another one just as bad and she still talks about wishing she could be with the first one again....

Rational, no, but that's the way some people are wired....

In the end i had to wash my hands of the situation for my own sanity.... or what passes for sanity in my case...

*hugs for your friend and you*

It took my eldest sister 5 miscarriages and 5 years of marriage before she left her abusive husband and it took my other sister almost being pushed from a moving car to leave her abusive husband of 6 years and then after three years of another husband who she left because she found out he was hurting her kids when she was at work and that was after he'd caused her to lose her hearing and fear going to the bathroom with the door closed. . .

It isn't easy. . .it is hard. But only the person can do it. We as the on lookers can only wait for them to realize they are worth more than they think they are.

Thanks for the hugs, Red. I truly hope it doesn't come to that for my crazy woman to realise.

Tx, can't leave her. I love her to bits. I just don't know how I can help her. And seriously, if she told me she wants to stay, I will leave her alone. But she is so damn miserable. I just can't see her that way. :(

You're welcome. :rose:

I haven't been abused but I do know what it is like to see it happening to people you love. You want to toss your hands in the air; You want to make them see the truth and to make them realize there is a way out, but until they want to see it all you can do is wait on the sidelines.

I hope it doesn't come to any of that or other things that are worse, because my sisters went through so much as did my family before they woke up and took that first step.

If they're not busy, I'll have them as well. Gladys Knight will do for now, though. I want a live performance when I'm in bed  :catroar:

Hey i thought was only for the kids..... I'll have to remember to take my colored pencils with me next time.... :D

Central london is great. I love it. At 7:30 on a Weds evening, when people should be at home feeding their kids and snuggling up with SO's, it was HEAVING. I wish i had the time to stop off in some shops...i had an errand. I LOVE it. The throbbing masses calmed me a little. The hustle and bustle, and the 'hey...look where your going!' and 'you bastard that was my foot!' is so nice to hear...

Seeing as im quite angered today, im surprised i didnt get pissy there, but i guess its coz i havent been central for a bit and being back there was good for me.

Yes, or just a few different ink pens with different ink.... or that pen with the four inks in one. :D I love that pen. I'm always doing the games on the back of those papers. It gives us something to do too. :D
