Sorry in advance to anyone who is tired of hearing it.

She didn't like when I slept naked. She thought it was creepy. After the first couple of sleep-overs, I always made sure I wore jammies cause I just didn't want to hear it anymore.
The other evening, I slid into my bed and pulled the flannel sheets up over my naked self, relishing the feeling of the soft cloth against my skin as I sinking into sleep and I realized that I'm really looking forward to finding someone who will pull me close, as close as my bedclothes were, and relish my nakedness just as much.

I'm glad she's gone. I really am.
But sometimes it's still hard to fall asleep without saying g'night to her.

-you have lots of other substitutes you can say good night to, if you need a stand in while you adjust to life without her. We're not the same, I know, but we're here. And we love you just the way you are, without reservations or qualifications.
