"Grief is the tribute we pay our dead, but they don't ask more than we can give." - S.M. Stirling

Stirling is very perceptive, unless he's speaking of the loss of a child. Then, he's pushing the envelope.

Skip, I honestly couldn't tell whether this statement is just contentless sentimentalism, or if someone might find it insightful or helpful. For the promise of the latter I accepted the risk of appearing a dolt if it's just the former.

I think many will find consolation in it Rox. I was speaking of my own experience. It was 1976 that I lost my eldest son to suicide at 19 years of age, and we still have problems with the experience. Of course we have come to accept it, but it still gets to us at times.

ok so this is going to be a long one...

B- FUCK OFF, i dont want to talk to you, keep my stuff for all i care. And ps i dont care that you're sharing your bed with some naive woman now, do remember that *I'm* the one who left you.

K- please be gay. please be single. please dont care that it may be innapropriate. please make a move, i dont think i can.

J- i have words for you, you are selfish, and you can be petulent when you dont get your way, you need to realise that you can't treat people that way. I think you are a good person but you need to realise your mistakes.

S- don't feel like its your fault. Also, its easy for you to say that i need to work harder and push myself but if i'm trying really hard and just can't, im already beating myself up about it, i dont need you to say that to me.

E- i wish i were closer to you, but S is right, what do we know about you? you're just E, i know a little bit about you, you seem to know a lot about me, but i guess thats coz i talk a lot. and ps, i saw how you were in lecture today, im sorry sweet. i'd have hugged you if i thought you'd let me.

R- i miss you sweet. i miss your big brother hugs. I feel like you dont need me anymore, you've got the others. i need you to need me, i want to look after you and pander over you, but i still want to say you're like MY big brother.

Period- please fuck off.

28 years is not too late for me to say, I'm sorry, you have my sympathy.

I love having my sister here. I think we should just ask her to move in.

You know I would love to reside at the Love Shack. I'll even pay rent! I love this pocket room, it is such a safe, loving, comfy corner of the world. You know, I hate going out tonight. For some reason, every time I come back, all I want to ever do is stay here and be with the family. It is such a precious time I get to spend with ya'll.

We don't go to hell, memories of us do.
And if you go to hell, I'll still remember you.
