No, my license was already suspended. I neglected to pay a damn speeding ticket last year. It's in the works for me to get it back - I've already paid the fine, etc., so now I'm just waiting on the paperwork from the court to be sent down here to me so I can then take that stuff to the DMV, and get my license. (life is never EASY, is it?).

I don't know if he'll do anything or not. He's one of maybe 10 black people in that town (I'm not kidding - the number may be even lower), and he knew the first cop that pulled us over, come to find out. They went to high school together, but that cop couldn't see who it was in the back seat of my car, which is why I say the only reason they pulled us over was because there was a black guy in the car. If someone's sitting in my back seat, you can only tell what race they are, and what gender - maybe, and that's about it...the back seat in my caddy is so deep.

Well, that was a new experience.

I was driving a friend of mine and her boyfriend (who happens to be black in a mostly white/hispanic town) over to his house, when this cop starts following us...I mean every single turn.

A block away from his house, the guy finally flips his lights on, and I pull over. Next thing I hear is him on the speaker - loud - "Everyone put your hands outside the window and keep them up."

Okay, this is a new thing, but I'm still okay.

Five minutes later, FOUR more cop cars arrive, and when they do, the cops driving get out, and take that stance behind their doors, with their guns drawn, pointed at my car.

"Driver, open your door, get out, put your hands behind your head, and walk backwards towards me. Stop. Get down on your knees."

I did, but now I'm scared shitless. He comes over to me, tells me to stand, pats me down, then tells me to get back on my knees in the middle of the street. "I'll tell you what's going on in a minute."

He does the same thing to my friend and her boyfriend.

Seems that a black guy had just robbed a store a mile or so away, and J. fit the general description (what? He was black?).

Eventually, they let us all go, me with suspended license and all, but fuck! What a ride. I won't be able to sleep for a fucking week.

Have I mentioned I hate cops?

I'm really sorry for whatever has happened. I checked through your other message threads to see if I could find out who did what to you. I didn't see anything in the threads, so I assume it was a PM or someone doing something vicious to you in your personal life.
