It's been four years as of today. I try to trick myself into forgetting the date by getting caught up in other stuff, but I never do. Trick myself, that is. I know it's coming and the closer it gets, the more I loathe this time of year. I will visit his grave next week. I'll bring flowers and I'll talk to him and I'll cry and get angry. I'll run the gamut of emotions associated with grief all over again and then I'll be good to go for another year --or at least until another stray thought makes me think of him and how much I miss him.

And I do miss him. A lot.

I'd still like to kick your ass, "little" brother. And after that, I'd like to hug you for for the next century or two.

Tonight I'll be a black and blue butterfly.
I managed to batter my hands a few times with a club hammer.

Five minutes ago, yes the white stuff is all hail and that was a river of rain and hail flooding the street......The sun is now out and almost all the hail is melted and the water down the drains.

I love Denver.

Great shot! I love captured transitory moments like that...

it's why I can shoot 30 frames of a flag whipping in the breeze, in search of that perfect one...

I don't know where my Muse has been on vacation to but the next time she goes, I'm going with her.......

Damn, this new story is fogging up my glasses......

Oh, I have to send you the pictures of the rain last night. :D
This one actually bugged me because I didn't think it did catch the kinetic energy.

Tex.....Sounds like fun......Lots of fun. :D

Its too dry here, normally, for a green giant to survive. :p

Hope your hands are doing ok.

A few cuts and grazes, a couple of bruises.
All in a days work.

Wow, mine never fade that fast.
Though I'm sure you're a lovely butterfly without the extra color.
