Ya know my favorite things to get in such situations? Food.

No, seriously, there are great places that put together baskets of flowers and food and ship them all over. (Harry and David is my fave, but I don' tknow if they ship to the UK). Someone else does all the shipping bother, and you just pick from the catalog/website. And if you chose well, everyone is happy. (We have people ask us each year if they are getting that good stuff they got from Harry & David last year, and can we make sure they get a catalog?)

Results? Diamondbacks baseball and bar of 'mid-life crisis' chocolate for brother. Diamondbacks hat and baseball for ex. A selection of cookies for father. The cards were the hardest, there isn't a section for ex-husband.
