True...but I have a working scense of smell and the smell is awful. :p
It's no worse than being trapped in an unventilated room with someone who's been marinating in a musk based cologne. *snicker*

That may be unpleasant, but skunk is downright awful. I just happened to be with the dog...didn't get hit but my nose is still burning from the strength of the blast.

:(

LOL. You could, but it might be a boring conversation.

Compared to the conversations I usually have with myself it is down-right sane.

Geez maybe I should re-convert to Catholicism and become a priest...I'm already celibate...I might as well get paid for it

Are priests celibate?

Depends upon the religion

Technically speaking only Catholic and Episcopal clergy are called priests, the rest of us lowly Protestant ministers are called "Reverend" or "Pastor"...And only Catholic Priests are bound by a vow of celebacy except those .2% of the Catholic Priest population who are married.....

But that's neither here or there...The point is I'm horny....and, well I just am....and dating sux! :D

I think good sir , you need to broaden your theological horizons. In Wicca, we have "priests" and they certainly aren't Celibate. You can find "priests" in many faiths and religions... I drop all of christianity into one "religion" with many sub-sects. As I said in my original response: it depends upon the religion.

I now know that two very interesting things:
1. I can't flirt very well
2. If it comes down to writing I can find just about everything else to do

If you'd ever come to my thread, you would indeed see that my theological horizons are extreemly broad...When I answered though I was only referring to Christianity an it's use of the appelation "Priests." Which is often mistakenly used when referring to ALL Christian Clergy regardless of the denomination...

Due to my friend being a pagan priestess the first thought in my head when the word 'priest' comes up in the catholic setup, but wiccan makes me think of a priestess. Which is completely idiotic considering she isn't even wiccan and I shouldn't spend so much time worrying about catholics.

though confession is fun on occasion.

i also realize I just responded to something that wasn't directed at me, but at this point in the lack-o-sleep meter i think people need to know what I'm thinking.

I find that surfing the web under the guise of research for whatever I'm supposed to be writing about....causes me not to actually write...

LOL
another problem I've found is for some reason people think only of "Goddess" and "Priestesses" when the word Wicca is bantered about. The whole basis of that religion is the duality of diety, not in the Judeo-Christian concept of good and evil, but in masculine/feminine. Way too many Wiccan's put primary emphasis on Goddess... probably in respone to so many of them rejecting a patriarchal religion... this is just as imbalanced.

ugh... this is NOT a religion thread... I'm shutting up now!
