Wow, the alternative Kira was screwing everybody, wasn't she? Male or female, it didn't matter. It's funny that there was all that controversy about the lesbian Dax kiss (5th season?), but no one said anything about the implied orgies that Alt Kira had earlier in the series. :D

Hell, everybody in the Alt universe was screwing everybody else. Kira was the most notorious though, she went after everybody, Sisko, Jennifer, other Kira, Alt Barile, Ezri, plus all the othere. Sisko messed around with Alt Dax and Alt Kira, Alt Leeta and Alt Ezri fell in love (much to the bewilderment of Rom "I WANT TO GO HOME!!!") and I swear...I SWEAR when Alt Worf had Alt Garak in custody he was looking at him like a hungry Klingon.

I think the Alt universe episodes were just so out there that people didn't make much of a stink about it. It was season 4 when Dax had the lesbian kiss and that was a cannon character so people made more of a big deal about it.

I don't remember Alt Worf. I thought there were only 2 Alternative world episodes. There was another?

There were 4 episdoes where they went to the Alt universe, 1 where Alt Kira and Barile came to their universe.

A little bit of everything. The latest concerns my stolen car. An insurance agent confirmed this afternoon he can obtain exactly the same cover, at exactly half the price, with the same insurer I've been paying for ten years. He has also confirmed that my current insurance entitled me to a replacement car, when the insurer insisted it did not. Another battle to sort out. What pisses me off the most is that a Cousin, an accountant, was supposed to be looking after my affairs. His Fuck-up of my accounts has cost me 7,000€, fees for a new accountant to re-do the accounts and fines by the Finances Ministry for wrong accounting.

There are occassions when I regret walking out on a disfunctional family (mine) thirty-seven years ago. There are other times when I believe it was the only sensible think I've done in my life. Most of my Portuguese wife's family are magnificant - just this one jerk who continually seems to fuck-up peoples lives, and of course, they were too nice to tell me, until the damage was done.<rant over>

I'm afraid you reaped the harvest of my discontent rather than the SO who seems to have gone AWOL (though I think she's working in her studio).

We are just about to embark on a major new project in Portugal - I sometimes wonder if they deserve the effort it costs. We've been told it could take up to one and half years to obtain planning consent, a process that has a statutory limit of thirty days, and this to convert a ruin into a gallery and studio complex (and our new home). You would think they would bend over backwards to cooperate. :rolleyes:

You have no earthly idea. He promised to get the proceeds from the stuff we hired somebody to put on ebay for us and deposit it. Two weeks ago. Got a letter from the bank today to let us know that - well gee - it didn't happen, our overdraft protection is gone, they're getting ready to close the account, and have returned checks all over the place. Which means i can't get gas to go do anything. Even fill out job apps.
