I can remember the flight to Barcelona, but I have no recollection of the return flight home. I can remember the taxi drive to the hotel, taking the subway to the beach in nothing but a bathing suit, sandals and sarong. I can remember lying in the sun and watching two naval officers from a county whose insignia I didn't recognize ogle the women on the beach. It was a topless beach. I can only assume the pair in dress-whites were unused to such sights. I can remember swimming in the Mediterranean and eating at a restaurant on the boardwalk with my French-Belgium friend, Marc. I can remember sitting outside the cathedral in the center where the acoustics between buildings is so superb, the guitarist go to play while crowds gather to listen. I can remember it all ...except the flight home.

i should have slept more last night. Stayed up way too late (early?) watching a movie and waiting to hear from him.

Hopefully i'll be able to either caffeinate or catch a nap before company gets here. Both would be good. Especially since i'll be up a good portion of the night working on projects and such wih him.

Life is good.
 
I think after I come home from my voice lesson, I'll curl up in bed and write there instead of at the PC. I need a break from this chair, and I always write better in bed anyway.

Yes, they're both on my shit list this week, in fact. Canceling an insurance policy should not have to be more difficult than opening one! :rolleyes:
