just a little lighter than it's natural color...not a huge change, but I was bored. :D

Aww rats I was hoping for "mid night black" or "fiery auburn cinnamon"

*hides my dark hair fetish again*

Argh, I feel you, sister. I haven't done mine in 2 months, and it SHOWS, how it shows...and I hate paying the money at the salon, but it's so much EASIER...

mine is to my waist....takes two dealios of color, and I need my arms to be about a foot longer.

I'd look like elvira if I did it black, and red.....hmmm, no, not me. ;)

I cut mine in Jan from waist to mid-back....third time I've done it. I kept the tails the first two times, but not this time. And I MISS IT. It feels SHORT!

Bah.

I'll have to find a picture of my hair at it's longest -- you will, too, 'cause I'm curious ;)

*imagines cloudy in a tight black dress with dangerous plunging neck line and slit up to her hip*

And that's a bad thing how?

I refuse to believe that there is a bad length for Mal or Cloudy's hair...

...I mean, I'm sure there is...I just don't want to believe it...long hair is nice but I'm not tied to it..."not tied to it"...jeez, that won't draw any comments from this crowd *rolls eyes*

My two year old is walking around saying, "I'm not disgusting."

(cuz that's what 4 yo says she is all the time)

ah siblings....... fun fun.

I'd offer to trade but my 8 year old would take all the legos with him. :(

Alts

I don't understand the use of an Alt.

Does a person use one to see if what someone tells them is not true? Thereby seeing if they can catch them doing something?

Or does a person use an Alt because they can't let go and can't come back as who they were?

or is an Alt someone who likes to play "head" games?

I think the reasons for having them are probably as varied as the alts themselves...

oh, and Honey?

*Pounce, Kiss, Snuggle, Lick!*

That's ok. I already have an eight year old. One is enough.

I have an alt, created because I was bored and because I wanted to test a theory. I haven't used the alt in months and months, tho, because I'm lazy and I like SJ. :) I think some people do create alts for ill intent, but many others do it for noble reasons. (or at least not for evil ones).

I have one too, but everyone knows who it is, so it's really quite useless. :D

I don't have an alt here, but I used them elsewhere. Sometimes they are a way of escaping the persona one inevitably creates when interacting in a computer forum. Sometimes they are a way of catagorizing intereactions (for example. having one alt for writing and AH/Editing and another for use in the Playground or, say, the BSDM forum). Sometimes they are to allow a person to move quietly through the forums and other areas without attracting attention, or for doing some kind of work where PMs might be distracting.

I have three mail addresses with different IDs on them. One is a general address (and gets the most spam), one is for dealing with online writing, and the other is for getting business related email.

I can think of a lot of reasons why an alternate ID might be attractive.

I'm incapable of the organizational skills needed to have an alt. It's difficult enought to remember who I was talking to and what I was saying without having to remember who I am.

Is that a very clever and self-depricating way of saying you are slightly lazy? :)
