Will be doing the fire-thing ourselves soon. It's only getting into mid-60's here this week!

We had a cold snap last Thursday (fifties) and for some reason the furnace won't come on. I suppose I'm bundling up and heading out to check the pilot. Yes, snuggling is wonderful, but getting vella to sit still is about as easy as catching a tiger by the tail.

People say that scorpios are hard to read, that we're secretive and we don't share our feelings well.
But I tell her everything she can handle, I share as much as she can possibly take.
For the rest of it, I share here. I post almost daily about the ins and outs of my moods and thoughts and feelings. She knows where to find the posts, exactly what threads I post in, and she has my blessing to come and take a peek anytime she wants. But she doesn't.
I have a young friend staying with me this week, who is also a scorpio. She gets the same line of crap from her friends and family, and in particular her on again off again girlfriend. But she shares her feelings in a similar fashion. Instead of posting them to an online BBS, however, she writes them in Sharpie on her arms and legs. Her body is marked with phrases like, "You deserve a softer pillow than my heart," and "I'm trying to be a little better everyday. I promise."
How much more transparent do we need to be, honestly? We're right here, waiting for you to be ready for us. Open your eyes and connect your brain. There is no mystery here. Just a truth that is more than you can bear.
