My fashion urges are few and far between, but I know what you mean! :rose: I found a store that was hosting a HUGE sale. I got lots of stuff for not a lot of cash. I love deals like that. I probably spent more on the shoes than anything. :)

Oooh, I love a bargain! I tend to do most of my shopping in sales, and rarely buy anything at all at full price :) I love knowing I've got something that's worth more than I paid for it :D

Dang, started to post and I got sidretracked....

Life is good. Missed you as well. May be in your neck of the woods on Tuesday. Try to have nice weather for me, please?

Sorry so late to respond. :rose: Weather for Tuesday looks good so far, but then you never know. This being Kansas and all, it could turn shitty in 10 minutes. :)

I am pondering this thought.

There are stories with sex in them, and sex with stories around them.

Would this be the difference between erotica and some other genre?

Not nearly that profound. Just reflecting on the stories I like here and those that I find less likeable, and that seems to be the trend. Some stories have sex as their center, around which narrative bits are woven (however loosely in some cases). Other stories are narratives that have sex woven into them.

I seem to like the later more than the former and that line kept popping into my head. Thus...a blurt.

That IS a fine corset, by the way. I haven't had mine on in years, which is sad, considering what I spent on it.

What I like depends on my mood. I like a finely crafted story, but sometimes I just want to get off, too. *ahem*

The corset, yes... handmade sucker. It sounds like you understand and appreciate the value of that. I'd love to have another one, just not sure I want to lay down the same amount of cash for it. Put yours on again, take pics. I'm sure they will go over well here. ;)

Hm, yes, there is that, but in general I like the idea of "skipping to the good part", yet still having the rest of the story around. Of course, sometimes just having the "good part" standing alone works. :)

I got mine from Brute Force (I know the owner). I'm not even sure I can get into it anymore -- I refuse to show myself with back cleavage or foldover. I've gained weight since I got it.

I've got a full collection of bodices, though (no boning) from my Ren Faire days. Whole different fit -- I'd rather wear a bodice than a bra, but they don't go so well with average business attire (or giant sloppy t-shirts).

I always wanted to dress up and participate in a Ren Faire. It's on my list of things to do before I die.

I did it for about 6 years, as part of a singing group. It was fun for a long time, then it became work, and now I just have a closet of costumes. Most important thing to remember is that if they'd had Velcro and Zippers in the Renaissance or Midieval period, they sure as hell would have used them -- and there is no special virtue in hand stitched garments!

Oh, and during parade, find a spot IN FRONT of the horses ;>
