...erm... I guess that falls under the everyone is different catagory.

Yeah, it must. I've never had a problem with mine as long as I maintain. (Aveeno shaving cream is the bestest). It's when I stop maintaining that it's irritating.

are you fucking nuts ???? $671 just to get the car so it won't stall at every red light ???? AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

id like to buy the world a coke

i'll be digging in the sofa cushions for change.

I'm a little scared about my classes this semester. One of my profs sent out a 13 page syllabus of expectations (not assignments, those are listed somewhere else). He's emailed with helpful hints, things like "find your comfortable place" for reflection and papers that only cite the text will get a "minimal" grade. That's all fine and dandy, but there are so so many requirements and expectations that I don't know if I can keep track of them. Not to mention all the reading and research and writing to do the assignments.

Why did I think I could go back to school?

I'd love a coke

... in one of the original glass bottles if you can manage it :)

please

I'll kick her ass plenty.

I've lost fingers to the couch. One time I sent a neighborhood kid down the cushions with a rope around his waist...when we pulled it back up...the end was chewed off.

Because you are a very strong, self-reliant person who desires a better life for herself(and her kids) and pursuing education is one method of obtaining it. Because you are very proactive and you can handle anything you set your mind to.

Thank you. I don't feel like I can do it at the moment, so that's a really nice thing to say.

Becuz you are strong and intelligent and driven to succeed .. and you will.

I know in a few weeks your first assignment will come back with another routine A or A+

Good luck, SJ. You're doing a very courageous thing, even though it doesn't feel like it right now. :rose:

SJ...I think that is wonderful that you are going back to school...I can't tell you how much I admire you for doing that!

I wish I had enough nerve to quit my job and go to school. I never made it to college. I opted to go to work and help out my family. I regret not going to college - not helping out, but every year I thought.."this is the year.." well, 20 years later...<shrugs>

Good luck sweetheart!!! We are all behind you 100% ~ and it's not just 'coz you got a great behind...it's because we love you!!

Thanks Honey! It's harder than I expected it to be, but it's good and I'm glad I'm doing it. Sometimes I just have moments of panic, especially now that ex is moved out and I'm on my own so much with the kids.
By the way, it's never too late to go back if you really want it. I was in high school when my mom finally finished her BA. She had so much momentum by then that she went on to finish her MBA.
