An old friend of mine once said, "Christmas tastes like...scotch." That was about 30 years ago and shortly thereafter began a tradition of exchanging bottles of single malt for Christmas, generally trying to find some of the more obscure varieties.

I'll see him Tuesday, but haven't shopped for that event yet.
