i would just rather wait until Yule, then leave it up until Imbolc, but it doesn't happen that way.

I too was raised in the catholic faith but desided long ago, around 16, that it just wasn't for me. Stand up, sit down, knee, although I did get some exercise.

Didn't appreciate those penguins running around swating kids with a ruler or yard stick.

We had a cardinal come visit, and he was asking questions, and everybody's answers got comments - except mine. Me being, well, me... i got right in his face, told him exactly what i thought of his sexist attitude, told him he was going to hell for it, and walked out.

They never hit me either, I was in public school and just went to the catholic school on Wed. afternoons, so they couldn't wack us as our parents hadn't given them permission. Just saw it done to others that went to the school full time.
