Someone asked me recently if I'm jaded. I smiled. Of course I am jaded. I am also cynical and sarcastic.
The same someone asked me if this was because of my life experience. I simply said that I was this way before I had any experience. They found that hard to believe.
Being this way does not mean that I was not at one time innocent and it does not mean that I am hopeless.
Random side thought: I'm enjoying the topic but I'm tired of trying to write about it.

I understand aobut your studies. It's probably a good thing the internet virtually did not exist when I was in school. I had enough destractors with beer, fraternities and sorrities. One year of football didn't help. As always the best of luck with them.lucky-E-leven said:

As far as blushing, no need. Beauty and sexyness are there. Certainly nothing to be embarrased about. Makes the rest of us jealous of Vella. I still really enjoy the watching the loving relationship there. It does the heart good.

I just want to shout sometimes.
I want to shout about how fucking good I feel when she looks at me that way, how warm and happy I feel when I see her painting our three year old's fingernails as she sits on the potty counting one-one-thousand in that sing-song voice she learned from my wife, how amazing it is to set my body free the moment her tongue touches me, how loved, wanted and needed I feel when she reaches for me though she is deeply asleep...how wholly conflicted and frightened to the core I feel the instant I am faced with the thought of her being absent from my life...the only reaction I have is to shout.
