I also just found out that I budgeted around twice as much as needed for food when planning for my new car. Life just became a lot more affordable!

For the first time in at least a decade, I hit my thumb with a hammer. FUCK!!
Took an assessment exam for a new job today and failed. *sigh* I just wasn't cut out for this kind of thing I don't think.![]()

Parenting brings out the best and the worst in us...this morning it was the worst...
teenage daughters...grrrrrrrrr
* Hugs *![]()
This is not a hotel, and I am not a maid. Apparently, though, I am a doormat.

I'm both looking forward to, and dreading karate tonight.
On Tuesday she had us go wide open for the first fifteen minutes, and after only ten, most of us were dripping sweat. I was sore as hell yesterday morning. Hopefully, she won't be as gung-ho tonight. My poor muscles aren't happy still.
(on the plus side, I've lost almost eight lbs in three weeks, all while eating like crazy because I was so hungry)

Nice!!!
But sorry about your muscles...want some muscle cream?![]()

on a completely unrelated note, I just found this (be ready for cute overload): Kitteh roulette.
Enjoy.![]()

It wasn't as intense tonight as it was Tuesday, although Shihan got aggravated at a bunch of folks because they didn't know how to line up. She punished all of us for it...we had to do doggie kicks out to the side - twenty on each side.
BUT....we got to do flying side kicks tonight, jumping over the blocker bags (four of them are about three feet high when they're stacked), and getting to kick Shihan's bag as hard as we want, and yelling while we did it, of course.![]()
I feel like an uncoordinated idiot when I do jump kicks, and my knees absolutely hate them.

Really? I would have thought you'd do well with them.
When she first explained what she wanted us to do, my reaction was "there's no way in hell." I guess all those years long jumping on the track team weren't as forgotton as I supposed, because I cleared five bags (about four feet high, give or take a bit) easily.
I didn't try six or seven, though. A couple of the guys did, and cleared them spectacularly. She added height each time, just seeing what we could do. Tons of fun.![]()
